9 Best Ship Cargo Hold In Starfield
If you want to explore every part of Starfield and steal everything, you should build a ship with a huge Cargo Hold.
Because exploring and interacting with a huge number of things is such an important part of Starfield, it’s important to be able to support that. All cargo holds are about the same when it comes to the ratio between their mass and their cargo capacity. The capacity is about 4.7 times the mass in protected holds.
In Starfield, though, it’s not enough to just know how much space and weight a cargo hold has. In this case, some Cargo Holds can fit in spaces that other Cargo Holds can’t. Some cargo holds are also shielded and can hold illegal items that are easy for groups to find. Here is a list of Starfield’s best Cargo Holds to help you out.
Polo 2020 Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 760
- Mass : 160
- Requirements : Rank 2 Starship Design
- Location : Akila City, Stroud-Eklund Staryard, Hopetown, Neon
Players don’t start finding the Polo 2020 Cargo Hold until they are level 28. It also needs the Rank 2 Starship Design Skill and doesn’t hold as much cargo as most of Starfield’s end-game cargo holds. Another rare thing to see in a merchant shop is the Polo 2020, which is only held by four Technicians.
Galleon S202 Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 950
- Mass : 200
- Requirements : Rank 1 Starship Design
Starfield’s Galleon family has the best cargo holds. Players can get the Galleon S202 Cargo Hold when they reach level 20. It has very few needs and can hold up to 950 Cargo. Another way to build the Galleon S202 Cargo Hold is on top of or on the sides of buildings.
Caravel V102 Shielded Cargo Hold
- Shielded Cargo : 240
- Mass : 72
- Requirements : Rank 1 Starship Design
- Location : The Key, Red Mile
Building ships with shielded cargo holds is necessary for players who want to hide the shameful thing they did, but they still have to go through scans afterward…
In any case, players can build the Caravel V102 Shielded Cargo Hold around level 15. It can hold up to 240 Cargo. People can either do the Crimson Fleet’s Faction quest to get to The Key, where they can buy Shielded Cargo, or they can just go to the Red Mile and buy it there.
30T Hauler Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 1000
- Mass : 212
- Requirements : Rank 2 Starship Design
At level 25, the 30T Hauler Cargo Hold is unlocked. It can hold up to 1,000 Cargo. It’s not as common as the Galleon series and doesn’t have as much cargo space as some of them, even though it meets the same standards.
40T Hauler Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 1270
- Mass : 268
- Requirements : Rank 3 Starship Design
The 40T Hauler can hold up to 1270 Cargo, just like the other Hauler series Cargo Holds. You can get it at level 32 in some towns, like New Atlantis, Cydonia, and New Homestead.
Polo 2030 Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 1000
- Mass : 212
- Requirements : Rank 3 Starship Design
- Location : Akila City, Stroud-Eklund Staryard, Hopetown, Neon
Like the Polo 2020, the Polo 2030 Cargo Hold is unlocked very late in Penalty Kick Online, at level 38. Even though it can hold up to 1,000 Cargo, it doesn’t really help with Cargo. Even so, the Polo 2020 and 2030 Cargo Holds are still unique because they can be made at the base of Starfield’s Structurals and Habs.
10ST Hauler Shielded Cargo Hold
- Shielded Cargo : 320
- Mass : 124
- Requirements : Rank 2 Starship Design
- Location : The Key, Red Mile
If you go to level 30, you can also find the 10ST Hauler Shielded Cargo Hold in Starfield in the Key or Red Mile areas. It has the most Shielded Cargo, so if players build a lot of them, they can make good storage for stolen and illegal goods inside their ships.
Galleon S203 Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 1200
- Mass : 252
- Requirements : Rank 2 Starship Design
The Galleon Cargo Holds are unique because they can be found in Starfield. You can find them in every Service Technician’s inventory, and players can find them in stores before any other Cargo Holds with the same traits. At level 25, players can get the Galleon S203 Cargo Hold. They can also stick to the bottom of buildings.
Galleon S204 Cargo Hold
- Cargo : 1480
- Mass : 312
- Requirements : Rank 3 Starship Design
It would have been easy for the Polo 2030 to be at the top of this list without the Galleon S203 and S204 Cargo Holds in Starfield. The Galleon end-game Cargo Holds, on the other hand, can be placed anywhere the player wants and can hold a huge amount of cargo. At level 32, the Galleon S204 Cargo Hold can be found anywhere in Starfield. It can hold up to 1480 Cargo, but only if you have Rank 3 Starship Design Skill, which is something everyone who wants to play around with their ship should have at this point.
